The Division
caters to major Public Sector Units, Private
companies and Enterprises in the segments
of Power, Steel, Metallurgy, Cement Paper
& Railways both in the domestic as well
as the International markets.
In the recent past, the Division has Engineering
Projects Division has received the largest
single order ever received by Crompton Greaves.
The total package covering Design, Detailed
Engineering, Supply, Erection, Testing &
Commissioning of substation equipment and
its protection for 400kV/ 220kV/ 132kV receiving
end substations at Arambag, Jeerat, Gokarna,
Bidhan Nagar and Satgachia.
The
total package is Rs. 900 Million (US $ 26
Million approx) and the initial activities
have already commenced.
This prestigious order is from West Bengal
power Development Corporation Ltd., (Bakreshwar
Thermal Power Transmission System).
The job includes 400 kV bays - 4 nos., 220kV
bays -17 nos. & 132kV bays - 4 nos., The
division has the infrastructure to execute
such mammoth projects efficiently and within
time frames specified.
