The Category Certification Program of Canada has
approved FHP Motors from Crompton Greaves and
these motors carry the Underwriters Laboratory
mark for USA and CE certification for Europe.
Motors in Frame 48 and 56 conform to BS 2048 Part
I and to NEMA (National Electricals Manufacturers
Association of Canada) standards. The Crompton
Greaves FHP motors also comply with CSA C 22.2
No. 1 00 -95 for motors and generators; CSA C
22.2 No 77-95 for motors with inherent overheating
protection; UL 1004 for Electric Motors and Ul
2111 overheating protection for motors.
