Flame Proof (FLP) Motors 
Product Description
These motors are exclusively designed for safety against accidental ignition or explosions and for continuos flawless operation in explosive or inflammable atmosphere that prevails in petrol and diesel dispensing pumps, chemical factories, petrochemical industries, fertilizer and solvent extraction plants, refineries, liquor bottling plants and paints and varnish works etc. Construction The motors have a heavy-duty seamless steel pipe stator casing with cast iron end-shields designed to withstand internal explosion. All the rotors are dynamically balanced to minimize vibrations. All the components are hydraulically pressure tested. Standard FLP motors has class 'F' insulation. These motors are available with solid foot mounting construction. Flange mounting can be offered on request.
Electrical performance Single-phase motors are either capacitor start capacitor run or capacitor start induction run. These are suitable for 230v 50 Hz single phase AC supply and confirm to IS 996 and BS 5000 part II. These are highly energy efficient and suitable for wide voltage. Motors suitable for special voltage and frequency bands can be offered on specific requirements.
